Afterword by New York Times Bestselling Author Daniel G. Amen, M.D.
CYNDY FEASEL with MIKE YORKEY
After The Cheering Stops
An NFL wife's story of concussions, loss, and the faith that saw her through
This book is very inspiring me from all the story of the hard won hope found in God's presence when everything else falls apart. This is a most of the real life story of the of Cyndy Feasel Author that was married for twenty-nine years to NFL lineman Grant Feasel, who was discovered after his death to have developed CTE a progressive degenerative brain disease from the concussions he received playing football. An art teacher un the Dallas-Fort Worth area, Cyndy is committed to raising awareness of CTE and the dangers of repetitive head injury. She was sharing her experience from her faith and her married life with the difficult time of family life when the game is over the transition out of professional sport is difficult for any normal person. This story will help us to face all the faith and concussions that we all have by asking for help no matter the pain and problems we have to face of. I highly recommend this book to everyone must read special every parent with a child playing in youth sports like football, soccer, and lacrosse should take time to read this book.
